Surviving Christmas
Surviving Christmas is a small charity run by a group of trustees and volunteers from within the local area. The charity aims to relieve cases of need, hardship or distress around the Christmas period to resident persons, whether temporarily or not, in the County Borough of Hastings, Rother District, and East Sussex.
Solution
FreshOnline offered to help Surviving Christmas at no charge as part of our FreshImpact initiative. We were set the task of creating a website to help tell their story and attract more volunteers to support the charity. Before this, they had been using a labour-intensive paper-based system for volunteer sign-ups. We created a brochure website that raises awareness of the cause and includes an online booking system where volunteers can quickly sign up. FreshOnline has continued to support Surviving Christmas with marketing advice and maintenance of their new website.
