Tesa’s Rescue
Tesa’s Rescue is a small team of volunteers based in Hastings, East Sussex who work to help cats and dogs from the UK and all over the world, get a second chance. They work to provide rescue animals with a safe present and a bright future. They foster cats & dogs, socialise them, train the dogs to become adoptable so that they can blossom in their forever homes.
Solution
We met the charities owner, Luiza Mataca through the Little MeetUp networking group. Luiza had tried building a website using Wix herself but struggled to get the result she wanted. The recurring monthly fees were also eating into the charity’s finances. We offered to build and host a new website for free as part of our FreshImpact initiative to support local causes. Tesa’s Rescue now has a clean, modern brochure website to advertise animals for adoption and recent success stories. The website also streams its current GoFundMe campaigns, showing progress and attracting donations. We have continued to provide help maintaining the site and taught Luiza how to make simple changes herself using WordPress.
