Community Moments We’re Proud Of

At FreshOnline, community isn’t just something we talk about, it’s part of who we are. From sponsoring local events like the 1066 Business Awards to providing digital support for charities including St Michael’s Hospice, Surviving Christmas, and the Hastings Easter Festival, we believe in showing up and giving back. The Hastings Half Marathon gave us another way to do just that, to celebrate teamwork, local spirit, and the power of small businesses making a difference.

FRESHONLINE TAKES ON THE HASTINGS HALF MARATHON: On Sunday 5th October, the FreshOnline team hit the road and braved the hills of Hastings to cross the finish line of the Hastings Half Marathon, all in support of St Michael’s Hospice.

This year, the FreshOnline team took on the Hastings Half Marathon not just running for the challenge, but running with purpose. Our goal was to raise vital funds for St Michael’s Hospice, a charity close to our hearts that provides essential care and support for families across Hastings and Rother.

Running for a Reason St Michael’s Hospice holds a special place in our hearts. Their work supporting individuals and families across Hastings and Rother is nothing short of incredible. So, when we had the chance to raise funds (and awareness) through one of the town’s most iconic events, we couldn’t say no. Every mile we ran, up those infamous inclines and along the seafront breeze, was for a cause that does so much for our community. St Michael’s Hospice relies heavily on donations to deliver compassionate, end-of-life care. Every mile we ran helps ensure they can continue to support patients and families when they need it most.

Pier to Pier Charity Challenge 15 miles, plenty of laughs, and over £1,000 raised for St Michael’s Hospice. See how the FreshOnline team took on the Pier-to-Pier challenge.
The FreshOnline team laced up their trainers and took on the challenge of walking from Hastings Pier to Eastbourne Pier, a full 15 miles of scenic coastline, camaraderie, and a few sore legs.

This year’s Pier-to-Pier challenge wasn’t just about getting outdoors. We were proud to raise over £1,000 (and counting) for the incredible team at St Michael’s Hospice who provide vital care and support in our local community.
