This year, the FreshOnline team took on the Hastings Half Marathon, not just running for the challenge, we’re running with purpose. Our goal was to raise vital funds for St Michael’s Hospice, a charity close to our hearts that provides essential care and support for families across Hastings and Rother.
Running for a Reason
St Michael’s Hospice holds a special place in our hearts. Their work supporting individuals and families across Hastings and Rother is nothing short of incredible. So, when we had the chance to raise funds (and awareness) through one of the town’s most iconic events, we couldn’t say no.
Every mile we ran, up those infamous inclines and along the seafront breeze, was for a cause that does so much for our community.
St Michael’s Hospice relies heavily on donations to deliver compassionate, end-of-life care. Every mile we run helps ensure they can continue to support patients and families when they need it most.
Community at the Core
At FreshOnline, community isn’t just something we talk about, it’s part of who we are. From sponsoring local events like the 1066 Business Awards to providing digital support for charities including St Michael’s Hospice, Surviving Christmas, and the Hastings Easter Festival, we believe in showing up and giving back.
The Hastings Half Marathon gave us another way to do just that, to celebrate teamwork, local spirit, and the power of small businesses making a difference.

No matter the amount, every contribution adds up. Even a small donation helps the Hospice continue its vital work.
A Huge Thank You
A big thank you goes out to everyone who supported us, from clients and friends cheering along the route, to those who donated to St Michael’s Hospice in our name. Your encouragement kept us going (especially up that final hill!).
And of course, hats off to the event organisers and volunteers who make this incredible community event happen year after year.
There’s still time to donate if you want to help us support St Michael’s Hospice… Every penny count goes towards supporting and enabling the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss.
And For Now…
We’ve hung up our race bibs (for now), but our commitment to community and collaboration runs deeper than ever. Whether it’s through creative projects, partnerships, or pounding the pavements, we’re proud to be part of the amazing 1066 community.
Because at FreshOnline, we believe in fresh design, smart strategy, and doing good while we’re at it.
